Antalya Academy of Tourism is a leading education institution where education
corresponds to European programmes and students have an opportunity to study
either in English or in Russian.
The 2 main streams of the College include:
• Tourism Management
• Hotel Management
Academy of Tourism in Antalya offers three variants of education:
Secondary Vocational Education
International College of Tourism in Antalya is a premier source of secondary
education in the field of tourism and hospitality. Graduates of secondary and/or
high school (equivalents of the graduates of the 9th and 11th form respectively)
are welcomed to this programme. Students can choose between Russian and English
departments. Education is based on American and European programmes and
tutorials in the leading travel companies and biggest hotels in Antalya, as well
as annual summer internships according to the chosen academic programme.
Higher Education (Bachelor degree)
Studying in Antalya Academy of Tourism one can obtain a Bachelor degree in the
field of tourism and hospitality within 3 years. In terms of Academy academic
process consists of the two stages:
1. A two-year programme in Antalya based on the programmes of EI-AH&LA
(Education Institute of the American Hotel and Lodging Association) or CTH
(Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality, UK).
Upon the completion of the programme students receive a Diploma of a specialist.
2. Continuation of education in the universities chosen by the student:
a) in Antalya, obtaining a qualification of a European university. College of
Tourism graduates can obtain Bachelor degree in Hospitality Management within 1
academic year.
b) in the universities worldwide where EI-AH&LA diploma is accepted . (List of
universities)
c) in the universities worldwide where CTH diploma is accepted. . (List of
universities)
Only highly qualified teachers from the USA, Great Britain, Turkey, and Russia
work in terms of the educational project. In the course of education students
are merged into the language and travel environment, which is especially
effective when studying foreign languages and acquiring practical skills.
Professional Training
If you are already a specialist in some field, but you are very interested in
tourism and hospitality sphere and everything that is connected with it, then
professional training is what you need. Professional training in terms of
Antalya Academy of Tourism is designed for those who have already received a
diploma of secondary vocational college or university.
Programme’ duration may be half or full academic year. Upon the completion
students have a right to pursue professional activities in the field of
hospitality.
Foundation
Our new optional programme “Intensive course of English and Introduction to
Hospitality” is a background course for further education in the English
language.
In the period of 5 months students learn English from the ‘beginner’ to
upper-intermediate level . As an addition to the main course of English students
also have lessons in tourism, hospitality, getting accustomed to the education
they shall have within the next two years. Upon the completion of the programme
students obtain an Antalya Academy of Tourism certificate of completion an
intensive course of English. Also students successfully passed relevant exams
obtain:
- An FCE certificate (First Certificate in English)
- Certificate of the Ministry of Education of Turkey
- TOEFL certificate (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
