Standard
The program at the College of Tourism is
directed towards the attainment of practical knowledge. Therefore
the students are allocated rooms in a hotel – the
benefits of their staying in a hotel environment are
obvious, they are able to observe the work of the
reception staff, catering staff, guides, airport transfer staff and
the management as they go about the daily business of
running the hotel.
The location of the college in the centre of Antalya and
its large tourism industry is ideal. With its warm
climate and relaxed outlook on life it gives the
students the best opportunities to work, rest and play
with a good work / life balance. During their stay in
Antalya the students live in a 4-star hotel, situated on
the gorgeous coast of the Mediterranean in Lara,
Antalya's most prestigious area. It is located 10 km
from airport and not far from one of the city’s
famous sights
– the Kapuzkaldiran waterfall. The magnificent sight of
the waters plunging from the cliffs into the
Mediteranean forming magical rainbows as the sunlight
dances in the spray never ceases to amaze.
All the rooms have a balcony, bathroom, telephone,
radio, satellite TVand importantly air-conditioning. In
the hotel there
are swimming pools with water slides, two restaurants,
two cafes, a sauna, a Turkish bath, hairdresser, conference
hall, gym with many training appliances, table tennis,
and pool. At night there is entertainment and a disco.
The standard package alocates two students to a room. If
required single rooms are available at
extra cost. The students are able to use all the facilities of
the
hotel (some of these facilities come at extra cost).
The full-time students can get three meals a
day (full board and lodging) which is included in the
payment.
The hotel also provides favourable conditions for studying foreign languages.
The students have a real opportunity to
consolidate the knowledge they received on their
language courses whilst talking with Turks, English,
Dutch and many other nationalities in the hotel.
